A celebratory look back and forward
The moment has arrived: a decade full of growth, challenges and unforgettable moments. What started as an ambitious adventure has grown into one of the most highly regarded high class escort agencies in the Benelux. Time to look back on this special journey, share lessons and look ahead to the future.
When we, Nancy and Les, quit our full-time jobs to found Secret Agents in 2014, we were at the start of a rollercoaster we could never have dreamed of. Without any experience in the erotic industry, we chose to completely reinvent the wheel instead of blindly adopting the then-established industry, which was from another era, as our model. That choice turned out to be both a blessing and a challenge. On the one hand, we were not affected by outdated industry standards or customs because "that's just the way it is", while on the other hand we had to shape, discover and learn everything ourselves.
The first three or four years therefore mostly consisted of high peaks and deep valleys. Falling, crawling and getting up again. In many cases, we did not do this alone, but together with the high class escorts who dared to sail these waters with us.
This resulted in a special, almost family-like working atmosphere where mutual respect and trust between agency, escort and client are key. As a couple, we were able to refine our business philosophy and working methods from both a male and female perspective. After four years of hard work, during which we invested all our savings and at one point worked 100 hours a week per person, Secret Agents in 2018 became not only a stable and self-sustaining business, but also one of the most highly regarded high class escort agencies in the Benelux.
Our mission has therefore remained unchanged at all times: "Creating wonderful, unforgettable memories for both client and escort." And we are proud of that.
Milestones and unforgettable moments
The past 10 years have been full of special moments and events. One of our Secret Agents became the face of an Icelandic beer brand following a booking in Scandinavia, we had the honour of working with identical twins for a year and, following the COVID lockdown, we took the initiative to set up VENESCO: the Association of Dutch Escort Agencies. Thus, together with the other notable prominent, serious and ethical high class escort agencies, we were able to join hands and join forces to formulate a uniform standard in terms of health monitoring, safety and ethics.
REFLECTION ON THE INDUSTRY
The high class escort industry has undergone significant changes over the past decade. From tighter regulation to increased social acceptance. Secret Agents has always found it important to anticipate such developments as constructively as possible. Therefore, even post-COVID today, we continue to work closely with our VENESCO members on a more transparent, professional and quality-rich industry, which, due to the increasing rise of opportunistic "cowboys", seems to be becoming increasingly difficult to navigate for both aspiring high class escorts and clients. In our view, therefore, the best thing about this collaboration is that we are once again dismissing some of the stigmas resting on the high class escort industry, and providing yet another proof that, like most "ordinary" industries, we are a neat, healthy, civil and above all constructive competition with each other.
That said, we believe it is equally important to continue to guard our identity and core values, and will always ensure that our slightly "different", warm and human approach will continue to set us apart. We still believe in a (sometimes agonisingly) slow application process, in order to eliminate financial pressure and/or doubt among aspiring Secret Agents as much as possible. In addition, we still operate on the premise that work as a Secret Agent should not be seen as a job should feel. In our experience, this has always been an important contributor to a great working atmosphere, relaxed company culture and exceptional loyalty. Not only among our high class escorts, but also among our clients, because they too have a very clear sense of how much a Secret Agent really feels at home.
Lessons learned in 10 years in business
In a decade, you learn a lot. Here are some of the key lessons we have learnt:
- Getting bigger by staying small: There was a time when Secret Agents had a portfolio of around 30 high class escorts. Please. Never. More. That period taught us that what matters to us is not as many offers and/or bookings as possible, but that we value stability, balance and the resulting peace of mind more. This allows us to retain all the more time and attention to provide our personal touch and the vaunted level of our matchmaking. Lasting relationships and returning clients who value us for our careful approach are therefore our primary objective. We would rather help 10 satisfied, returning clients per week than 2o one-off passers-by. This philosophy has also led to an exceptionally low turnover rate among our Secret Agents. For instance, we have now been working with Amber, 7 years with Noa and 8 years with Leah! Having said that, we realise that we may have gone a little too far in our less is more approach, and too many of our clients have been missing out too often lately, as our now relatively scarce high class escorts also have relatively limited availability due to their primary job/life/social commitments. Therefore, we have set a goal for 2025 to expand our portfolio to a maximum of 20 high class escorts. This will allow us to increase the success rate for at least all our regular, regularly returning clients, while at the same time maintaining our small but fine look and above all our exclusive identity.
- Reduce response times to grow: Since day one, we have always wanted to do everything ourselves: from job applications, customer contact and logistics to designing and building our website, our own backend, our internal booking platform, cybersecurity... We have been a 2-(wo)man-show for 10 years, which, as our popularity grew, increasingly resulted in longer, sometimes even unacceptably long response times. We have been aware of this for a while now, and after a far too long denial phase (and probably upcoming withdrawal phase) we have finally accepted we are at least something of all that hay off our own forks if we want to develop and grow further. That is why, after 10 years, we have rewarded our hard work by welcoming a very special intern to our office, namely Chloé: an experienced Secret Agent to join us by taking on HR and marketing duties. We will also very soon introduce our AI assistant Charlie to respond faster to initial pressing questions from potentially interested clients. Charlie will be trained, fine-tuned and hosted locally by ourselves, so that we can continue to guarantee the privacy and data security of our visitors. Of course, we will continue to handle the actual concrete booking requests ourselves. This allows us to process them faster and more efficiently, without sacrificing our personal touch.
The future of Secret Agents
The coming phase is all about growth and renewal. We focus on:
- Stronger focus on the international market: In the upcoming casting rounds, we will focus more on aspiring high class escorts who are more flexible to travel for their dates with our clients in / abroad, for instance because they are their own bosses and/or have a job with flexible "remote work" policies. We also open up to international high class escorts, applying strict selection criteria unabated.
- Improved communication: Thanks to the expansion of our back office with the arrival of Chloé and the deployment of AI, we can communicate with our clients faster and more efficiently, allowing us to optimise our personalised service and commitment to our verified clients.
- New photos: All ladies whose current photos were taken 2 years or more ago will get a new photo shoot with our regular photographer in March (so no AI-generated photos).
A warm welcome to Chloé in our management
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Chloé on her new role within Secret Agents as HR Manager. You may (re)know Chloé already; after all, she is also in our portfolio (and will remain there for the time being). Given her history, a lady like Chloé is an extremely suitable candidate to take charge of recruitment, application procedures and on-boarding, as well as to act as a confidential advisor. In addition, with her fresh perspective, she will make a valuable contribution to the various creative processes behind the scenes.

It is 8:00 am Wednesday morning and I leave for my office job with a different feeling than usual. This time, I feel more tension in my body. It's a nice feeling. I describe it as butterflies in your stomach. You know that you carry a little secret with you that no one can discover on the outside unless you tell them. So you are in control. What a wonderful feeling to live this double life. Only my best friend knows about this. I send her a message while on my way to the office where I work as a lawyer. I have a date tonight (wink wink), I write. She responds immediately: 'Me too!!!' We don't need many words and immediately know that this is our 'alter ego' we are discussing. How nice it is to be able to share this with my best friend!
After a long working day, I step into the shower and that is where my preparation for the date begins. I wash myself from head to toe and make sure all corners are shaved. Then I wash my hair and exfoliate my whole body for that silky smooth skin. I enjoy this self-care immensely. I check if my nails still need to be painted and once I have made them all neat I start on my hair and make-up. I never wear much make-up but for a booking I like to 'go a bit more out'. Tonight, we will dine at a luxury restaurant, ending with a lovely evening at a five-star hotel. I blow-dry my hair and put on three different outfits. After much deliberation, I choose a dark blue satin dress with killer heels by Christian Louboutin. Now that I have finally chosen my outfit, I can quickly make my choice of lingerie too. I choose a matching dark blue set by Bordelle with lots of straps. In my mind, I imagine how he will react.
We have known each other for over 3 years now and by now it is fair to say that a 'relationship' has developed. I feel confident with him and he always makes me smile. I can also really look forward to seeing him again and spending a nice time together.
He is waiting for me in the hotel lobby in his slacks and blouse with dark brown loafers. We greet each other and he walks with me to the room, where I can put down my things. Then we leave for the restaurant. All evening, we chat endlessly and laugh at each other's jokes. He puts a hand on my leg and I give him a kiss on his mouth. I can see that he enjoys it, and so do I. After a wonderful evening of wine, good conversation, delicious food and flirting, we decide to go to the hotel room. The tension is high now and we both can't wait to undress each other. We end this evening with a wonderful lovemaking session. I get another compliment on my dress and the lingerie I had chosen. Thankfully, I thought, all the work has not been for nothing! After we say goodbye to each other, I walk out of the hotel with a smile on my face. I am tired but fulfilled and realise all too well that I am lucky to have this double life I lead.
As soon as I lie in bed, I enjoy this wonderful date. It was a night to remember! I think back to my date. He is sweet, fun, charismatic and has humour. I thank him in my mind and fall into a deep sleep. Dreaming about my next Secret Agent date.
