From crisis to creativity
For almost 3 months now, since 24 March to be precise, we have had to tell our clients that we can no longer provide them with intimate dates with our high class escorts, owing to the ban on contact professions. On 11 May this ban was lifted, except for sex workers. There then followed the news that the vast majority of high class escorts, besides the ban on sex work, also fell through the cracks when it came to compensation for their loss of income. As a result, some of the escorts in the Netherlands felt forced to carry on working illegally and independently, with all the heightened risks and vulnerabilities that entails.
From the moment our clients caught wind of this, something happened for which we are enormously grateful. We received phone calls, messages and emails from our clients, all sharing one common thread: if we needed help, our clients were there. For us, and for our Secret Agents too.

Amid all the enormously thoughtful, heart-warming messages of support, we also received a number of messages from clients who began brainstorming on our behalf and put forward the most inventive ideas. Among the suggestions that passed by were an online Truth or Dare game between client and escort, webcam sessions at a reduced rate, a paid communication platform for staying in touch with their favourite high class escorts, and a post-corona voucher: an indefinitely valid virtual gift voucher for a date to take place after 1 September (or whenever we are ultimately allowed to resume our activities).
We soon noticed: the more fun and creative the ideas, the harder they would be to set up at short notice. All the more so alongside our efforts surrounding our new Association of Dutch Escort Companies and its mission to get our sector reopened sooner. In addition, some suggestions were enormously fun and interesting for our clients and for us as an agency, but less so for our high class escorts themselves. With the exception of a few who have also (whether temporarily or not) lost their regular jobs, most of our Agents are, after all, (for now) considerably less dependent on their high class escort income than we are as an agency. For them it is merely an occasional side job. For us it is our daily bread.
Moreover, with some ideas, the inability to sufficiently safeguard their privacy formed an unavoidable obstacle. Although we should still like to give shape to a few of these suggestions over the longer term, for now we have decided, at the very least, to introduce a post-corona voucher. This helps us, in the shortest term, to remain a healthy, viable business, and at the same time to give our Secret Agents a helping hand should they wish to make use of it already.
To express our gratitude for this support, we are giving these vouchers to all clients who stand by us during this period, with a 5% discount on the hourly rate (excluding Companionship Only dates).
