A celebratory look back and a glance ahead

The moment has arrived: a decade full of growth, challenges and unforgettable moments. What began as an ambitious adventure has grown into one of the most respected high class escort agencies in the Benelux. It's time to look back on this remarkable journey, share the lessons we've learned, and look ahead to the future.

When we, Nancy and Les, gave up our full-time jobs in 2014 to found Secret Agents, we were standing at the start of a rollercoaster we could never have dreamed of. With no experience whatsoever in the adult industry, we chose to reinvent the wheel entirely rather than blindly follow the established order of the time, which still belonged to another era. That choice proved to be both a blessing and a challenge. On the one hand, we weren't burdened by outdated norms or industry customs justified with "that's simply how it's done," while on the other hand we had to shape, discover and learn everything ourselves, the hard way.

The first three or four years were therefore mostly a matter of high peaks and deep valleys. Falling, crawling and getting back up. In many cases we didn't do this alone, but together with the high class escorts who dared to navigate these waters alongside us.

This gave rise to a special, almost familial working atmosphere in which mutual respect and trust between agency, escort and client are central. As a couple, we were able to refine our company philosophy and working methods from both a male and a female perspective. After four years of hard work, during which we invested all of our savings and at one point each worked 100 hours a week, Secret Agents became, in 2018, not only a stable and self-sufficient company, but also one of the most respected high class escort agencies in the Benelux.

Our mission has therefore remained unchanged at all times: "To create beautiful, unforgettable memories for client and escort alike." And that is something we are proud of.

Milestones and unforgettable moments

The past ten years have been brimming with special moments and events. One of our Secret Agents, following a booking in Scandinavia, became the face of an Icelandic beer brand; we had the honour of working with a pair of identical twins for a full year; and in response to the COVID lockdown we took the initiative to found VENESCO: the Association of Dutch Escort Businesses. Together with the other genuinely prominent, serious and ethically responsible high class escort agencies, we joined forces to formulate a uniform standard in the areas of health monitoring, safety and ethics.

Reflecting on the industry

The high class escort sector has undergone notable changes over the past ten years, from stricter regulation to growing social acceptance. Secret Agents has always considered it important to respond to such developments as constructively as possible. That is why, even post-COVID, we still work closely today with our VENESCO members towards a more transparent, more professional and qualitatively richer industry — one that, due to the growing rise of opportunistic "cowboys," seems to be becoming ever harder to navigate for aspiring high class escorts and clients alike. In our view, the most beautiful aspect of this collaboration is that we once again sweep aside some of the stigmas that weigh on the high class escort industry, providing yet more proof that, just like most "ordinary" sectors, we are perfectly capable of maintaining decent, healthy, civil and above all constructive competition with one another.

That said, we consider it just as important to keep safeguarding our identity and core values, and we will always ensure that our somewhat "different," warm and human approach continues to set us apart. We still believe in a (sometimes agonisingly) slow application process, so as to minimise financial pressure and/or doubt among aspiring Secret Agents as much as possible. We also continue to work from the principle that working as a Secret Agent should not feel like a job. In our experience, this has always been an important contributor to a pleasant working atmosphere, a relaxed company culture and exceptional loyalty — not only among our high class escorts, but also among our clients, because they too sense very clearly just how genuinely at home a Secret Agent truly feels.

Lessons learned in 10 years of entrepreneurship

You learn a great deal in a decade. Here are some of the most important lessons we've learned:

• Growing bigger by staying small: There was a time when Secret Agents had a portfolio of around 30 high class escorts. Please. Never. Again. That period taught us that our goal isn't the largest possible selection or number of bookings; rather, we place more value on stability, balance and the calm that flows from them. This way we can preserve all the more time and attention to offer our personal touch and the renowned level of our matchmaking. Lasting relationships and returning clients who appreciate us for our careful approach are therefore our primary objective. We would rather help 10 satisfied, returning clients a week than 20 one-time passers-by. This philosophy has also led to an exceptionally low turnover among our Secret Agents. We have now been working with Amber for 6 years, with Noa for 7 years and with Leah for 8 years! That said, we realise we may have taken our less is more approach a little too far, and that lately too many of our clients too often miss out, because our by now relatively scarce high class escorts also happen to have relatively limited availability owing to their primary careers / lives / social commitments. That is why, for 2025, we have set ourselves the goal of expanding our portfolio to a maximum of 20 high class escorts. This way we can increase the chances of success for at least all of our regular, frequently returning clients, while at the same time preserving our small-but-special character and, above all, our exclusive identity.
• Shortening response times in order to grow: From day one, we have always wanted to do everything ourselves: from applications, client contact and logistics to designing and building our website, our own backend, our internal booking platform, our cybersecurity... For 10 years we've been a 2-(wo)man show, which, as our popularity grew, increasingly led to longer — sometimes even unacceptably long — response times. We've been aware of this for a while now, and after a far too lengthy phase of denial (and a probably looming phase of withdrawal), we have finally accepted that we need to take at least some of all that work off our own plate if we want to develop and grow further. That is why, after 10 years, we have rewarded our hard work with the presence of a special intern whom we may now officially welcome to our office: Chloé, an experienced Secret Agent who is joining us to take on HR and marketing responsibilities. We will also very soon be introducing our AI assistant Charlie, so we can respond more quickly to the first pressing questions from potentially interested clients. Charlie is trained, fine-tuned and hosted locally by ourselves, so that we can continue to safeguard the privacy and data security of our visitors. Naturally, we will continue to handle the actual, concrete booking requests ourselves. This way we can process them more quickly and efficiently, without that having to come at the expense of our personal touch.

The future of Secret Agents

The coming phase is all about growth and renewal. We are focusing on:

• A stronger focus on the international market: In the upcoming casting rounds, we will focus more on aspiring high class escorts who are more flexible to travel for their dates with our clients abroad — for example because they are their own boss and/or have a job with a flexible "remote work" policy. We are also opening ourselves up to international high class escorts, while applying our strict selection criteria as rigorously as ever.
• Improved communication: Thanks to the expansion of our back office with the arrival of Chloé and the deployment of AI, we can communicate more quickly and efficiently with our clients, allowing us to optimise our personal service and dedication to our verified clients.
• New photos: All of the ladies whose current photos were taken two years ago or longer will have a new photo shoot in March with our regular photographer (so no AI-generated photos).

A warm welcome to Chloé in our management

We would like to take this opportunity to warmly congratulate Chloé on her new role within Secret Agents as HR Manager. You may already (re)cognise Chloé; she also appears in our portfolio (and will remain there for the time being). Given her history, a lady like Chloé is an exceptionally well-suited candidate to take on recruitment, application procedures and onboarding, as well as to serve as a confidante. In addition, her fresh perspective will make a valuable contribution to the various creative processes behind the scenes.

Under the motto lead by example, Chloé kicks things off with a short story about one of her memorable dates 📕

It's Wednesday morning, 8:00, and I set off for my office job with a different feeling than usual. This time I feel more excitement in my body. It's a lovely feeling. I'd describe it as butterflies in your stomach. You know you're carrying a little secret that no one on the outside can detect unless you tell them. So you hold all the cards. What a wonderful feeling it is to lead this double life. Only my best friend knows about it. I send her a message while I'm on my way to the office, where I work as a lawyer. I have a date tonight (wink), I write. She replies immediately: 'Me too!!' We don't need many words and instantly know it's our 'alter ego' we're now discussing. How lovely it is that I can share this with my best friend!

After a long working day I step into the shower, and that's where my preparation for the date begins. I wash myself from head to toe and make sure every corner is shaved. Then I wash my hair and scrub my whole body for that silky-soft skin. I thoroughly enjoy this self-care. I check whether my nails need re-painting and, once I've got them perfectly done, I start on my hair and make-up. I never wear much make-up, but for a booking I do enjoy going a little more 'all out'. Tonight we'll be dining at a luxury restaurant, rounded off with a wonderful evening in a five-star hotel. I blow-dry my hair and try on three different outfits. After much deliberation, I choose a dark blue satin dress with killer heels by Christian Louboutin. Now that I've finally chosen my outfit, the choice of lingerie comes easily too. I opt for a matching dark blue set by Bordelle with lots of straps. In my mind I imagine how he'll react.

We've known each other for over 3 years now, and you could fairly say a 'relationship' has formed. I feel comfortable with him and he always makes me laugh. I also look enormously forward to seeing him again and spending a lovely time together.

He's waiting for me in the hotel lobby in his trousers and shirt with dark brown loafers. We greet each other and he walks with me up to the room, where I can put my things down. Then we head off to the restaurant. All evening we chatter away and laugh at each other's jokes. He places a hand on my leg and I give him a kiss on the mouth. I can see he's enjoying it, and so am I. After a wonderful evening full of wine, good conversation, delicious food and flirting, we decide to head up to the hotel room. The tension has risen high by now and we both can't wait to undress one another. We end the evening with a wonderful time together. I get another compliment on my dress and the lingerie I'd chosen. Good thing, I thought, that all the effort wasn't for nothing! After we say goodbye to each other, I walk out of the hotel with a smile on my face. I'm tired but content, and I'm only too aware of how lucky I am with this double life that I lead.

As soon as I'm in bed, I bask a little longer in this wonderful date. It was a night never to be forgotten! I think back on my date. He's sweet, fun, charismatic and has a sense of humour. I thank him in my thoughts and fall into a deep sleep. Dreaming of my next Secret Agent date.
